International Business & Management Studies

Overall, IBMS at the Hogeschool Utrecht is a very dynamic education which prepares students optimally for a career at international companies or Dutch companies with international relations.

IBMS is a broad, international, English taught program about international management and economics. It prepares students for positions in international companies and organizations. Next to courses in Marketing & Sales, Business Finance, Organization and Logistics, much attention is given to Management coursers, Strategy Development and Intercultural Communication. Of course much time is spent to English as well as a second foreign language. A considerable part of the student population comes from abroad, and students are working in multicultural groups. Also, many of our teachers come from other countries. During your studies, two internships are part of the program, one of 10 weeks, the other 20 weeks. One of these internships needs to be in another country. Another requirement is to study in another country for one semester (half year) with one of our partner universities. These universities are all over the world, so there are many choices. By close cooperation with business partners, students can work on projects to resolve real business problems.
