International Tourism Management
After the propaedeutic year you can choose to specialise in:
International Tourism Management and Consultancy
This specialisation focuses on the international tourism destination. Special attention is given to applied research, connections between theory and practice and the rapid change in the international tourism setting. The emphasis is on destination growth, emerging economies, local community involvement and business feasibility.
International Tourism and Travel Industry
As a Manager in the Tourism and Travel Industry you are in charge of fine tuning holiday tours and business trips to the wishes and needs of your clients. This specialisation gives special attention to planning, buying, organising, publicising and distributing trips and tours on demand (tourists) - and supply (tourism destinations). Special attention is also given to upcoming travel markets such as Brazil, Russia, India and China.

If you meet the admission requirements (diploma of secondary education and sufficient results of an English language test), please register with Studielink. This is the national administration system for higher education in the Netherlands.

Step 2
Fill in the application form foreign students. Please make sure you submit all additional documents requested in the application form and send the digital files to applicationpackages(at)nhtv.nl.
Step 3
If your application is approved you will be invited for an online NHTV intake assessment. You will be admitted on biases of your grades, CV, diploma and outcome of the assessment. You will be informed in due course whether or not you have been accepted once your application is complete.

NHTV internationaal hoger onderwijs Breda
NHTV Breda is een middelgrote instelling voor internationaal hoger onderwijs. Er studeren ruim 7.000 Nederlandse en buitenlandse studenten. Je kunt kiezen voor een hbo-bacheloropleiding op het gebied van Games, Media, Hotel, Facility, Toerisme, Vrije tijd, Stedenbouw, Logistiek en Mobiliteit. In een aantal richtingen biedt NHTV ook wetenschappelijke bachelors (wo-bacheloropleidingen). Ook zijn er volop mogelijkheden voor een masterstudie en het combineren van werken en leren.

NHTV bereidt studenten voor op een internationale carrière. Welke richting je ook kiest, je komt altijd terecht in een crossculturele setting. Ieder studieprogramma heeft een internationale insteek en bij vrijwel alle studies heb je de mogelijkheid deel te nemen aan een uitwisselingsprogramma of stage te lopen in het buitenland. Je kunt ook kiezen voor een Engelstalige opleiding. Dan kom je in de klas bij studenten uit andere landen.
