MA International Relations

De studie MA International Relations is een masteropleiding op de Webster University in Leiden. Deze opleiding op Webster onderzoekt de uitdagingen en gevaren van deze post-Koude Oorlog periode en de belofte voor een veiliger, eerlijker en meer verzorgend globaal systeem.

De studie leidt studenten op in conflict management technieken en manieren om diverse internationale politieke en humanitaire kwesties tegen te gaan.

MA International Relations

International Relations is a master program in which you study the challenges and dangers of this post-Cold war era and its promise for a safer, more equitable, more caring global system. Webster encourages you to play a professional role in understanding and then sustaining this new world of ours.

The program trains students in conflict management techniques and ways to counteract diverse international political and humanitarian issues. The international relations curriculum creates the possibility for students to examine and understand the complexities and processes involved in the relationships among institutions of international governance.

During this master you will follow courses such as Introduction to International Relations, Research Methods and Perspectives, International Relations: theory and practice, and Thesis. Course-work provides exposure to legal, historical, and context-sensitive socioeconomic and political factors that are key elements in a study of this nature. Examination of the dynamics, structural characteristics, and humanitarian issues operating within the global community is included.

The 36 credit hours required for the Master of Arts (MA) degree must include 3 required courses, 2 courses from the Comparative Politics cluster, 4 courses from the International Politics cluster and 3 elective courses.
