Game on

In this new minor you will develop an educational videogame, work closely together with an international group, broaden your horizon by crossing borders, learn from other disciplines besides your own.

Sounds good? Then it's GAME ON! You are part of a multicultural team that will develop a game concept, research the target-audience, question the theory of games, psychology and experts and produce a serious game that aims to change behavior through learning.

How? Classes will give a deeper understanding of the how's, do's and don'ts in the process of developing games and game concepts that will give insight in the underlying psychology of a person's behavior and learning ability for mastering the technical and artwork requirements for producing a flash game. Experts will challenge you in game production workshops. Students from different schools and countries work, think, design, discuss and develop a multi-platform game together. Skills will be combined while exchanging cultural knowledge and backgrounds. The product will be a game for the web or a mobile device, designed to make children aware of certain behavior and it's consequences.

During the several developmental stages, documents (reviews, papers) and prototypes will be evaluated. The end product will be presented in front of an international audience.
