International Industrial Entrepreneurship (IIE) is a programme focusing on entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.
You learn how to formulate a strategy for an international company in the field of renewable energy and apply that strategy when setting up a production facility abroad as part of the corporate concern.
During the programme you are a consultant or an advisor in an industrial environment. You advise the organization how to expand in order to survive and/or anticipate opportunities abroad.
The first part of the semester focusses on an internal and external analysis of an company in renewable energy. The project case that students will be working on is based on an existing company in the field of energy. In the second part students will draw up a business plan, explaining how a chosen strategy can be implemented on an international level, taking various company activities into account.
The programme is intensive and consists of courses and project group work. Project work will be done in groups in which Dutch and/or international students cooperate.
