International Law, a practical approach

The School of Law offers you a semester in International Law with
an international student body.

The programme addresses a large variety of subjects including aspects of International contract law, European employment law, as well as International trade and business law, with special attention for related human rights and ethical aspects of doing business. European institutional law is discussed broadly in two
courses. Besides the law courses, the programme will also include skills
training courses. Moreover, the programme includes excursions, seminars and lectures given by guest lecturers. By the end of
the semester you will have gained knowledge and acquired skills that will enable you to operate as a paralegal in an international
context. The aim of the programme is to apply acquired knowledge to practical business situations, which are presented in the form of
projects. The focus of this so-called Project-Centred Education (PCE) is on active learning. Throughout your studies you will work
with foreign students in project groups, thereby improving your intercultural communication and language skills.
