This programme aims to prepare you for studying in English medium Bachelors or Masters programmes of The Hague University or at other institutions of Higher Education in the Netherlands.
Good language skills are essential if you want to succeed in a university programme with its new subjects, unfamiliar teaching methods and cultural differences taught entirely in English. The Preparatory Programme or PREP School is the opportunity to acquire the academic skills and level of English you need for studying in the international classroom.
PREP is more than an intensive course of English. It also offers training in critical thinking, building an argument, presenting a case, working in teams, project work, use of ICT tools and many other skills you need to study at university. In addition to English language practice for a high score in the IELTS exam, the half year programme offers the possibility of obtaining the new Cambridge Skills Development Certificate (SDP). This programme allows students to acquire the academic and enterprise skills that are the key to successful participation in Dutch Higher International Education.
