The programme in Anthropology & Development creates an in-depth understanding of the most relevant current local and global issues concerning social and cultural anthropology and development science.
This unique Master's programme, which is at the cutting edge of both social and cultural anthropology and development studies, includes knowledge derived from sociology, political science, economics and geography. Using a multidisciplinary perspective you will be encouraged to go deeper into the most relevant current local and global issues, including poverty, health, mobility, environment, inequality, multiculturalism and transnational networks. It is a study designed for those who want to break with traditional paradigms.
Graduates work as policymakers, advisors or officers for organisation dealing with development cooperation, integration of ethnic minorities, refugees and asylum seekers.
This programme will prepare you for a wide array of jobs. From policy officer in the public sector or at (international) aid organisations to consultant at an engineering or consultancy firm.
