As two leading Dutch universities, the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and VU University Amsterdam jointly deliver a unique Master's programme in Entrepreneurship in Amsterdam.
This programme gives you a profound academic grasp of entrepreneurship and hones your entrepreneurial skillset. This powerful combination of knowledge and skills will appeal to creative and ambitious students. At the same time these are also competencies that are much in demand with employers who see entrepreneurship as crucial to their ability to create social and economic value.
This one-year programme takes a thorough look at three modes of entrepreneurship: new commercial ventures, entrepreneurial activities within organisations, and initiatives that solve social problems. You will look at the multidisciplinary aspects of entrepreneurship, its collaborative and social nature, and the many practical issues (e.g. legal and finance) that influence it. Specialisation courses allow you to gain in-depth knowledge of entrepreneurship in specific industries. The programme culminates in a thesis.
